Cookie day was awesome. I had my Lindsay for the whole day and two other cousins for half the day each, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We managed to make:
*210 peanut butter kisses
*66 cornflake wreaths
*decorate 300 sugar cookies (40 were left after Saturday, so I took care of them on Sunday)
*300 peanut butter balls (I had to dip them on Sunday)
*50ish peppermint meltaways
*2 flavors of broken glass candy

Needless to say, we were BUSY! I made hot dogs for lunch because that didn't need the inside of my oven and Aunt Brenda brought pizza for supper. We took Lindsay home at 6:30 or so and we started at 10. We had the fun music cranked up and all the kids were awesome! Even the babies were good helpers!! Here's a few pix of our day:
Supplies all ready to go!
Cookies, cookies and more cookies!
Looks like a lot of fun and work. Glad you had fun.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a day you had! Looks like it was lots of fun though, too bad it is so far to come. I'm up early (Gary went to work) so I'm trying to get lots done while he's gone--baking some peanut butter blossoms and cranberry bread for giving. Of course I'll keep some too.
