So, cruising about the web this evening I ran into a COOKIE SWAP! YUM! I really don't think there's too much better than that! Thanks to Amy Beth at My Smoky Mountain Homeschool!
My recipe is one that my SIL Christine gave me a few years ago. It's since become my hubby's favorite christmas cookie. Enjoy!
Melting Moments
1 cup softened butter
1/3 cup powdered sugar
¾ cup corn starch
1 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla
Blend well and chill. Dough divides out into 48 balls. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes on ungreased pan. They do not turn brown – you just have to go by the time.
Icing –
3 cups powdered sugar
½ stick butter, melted
1tsp vanilla
Add cream a little at a time as needed.Color as desired. Green is nice for Christmas.
Those sound really good. I can see why your dh like them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating in the Cookie Swap. I added you to the blogroll.
Have a great weekend!
